• 3 1/2 - 4 lbs. roasting chicken, cut up
  • 3 onions, diced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 3-4 garlic gloves, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 14 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 lb. shelled raw shimp
  • 2 c. cooked rice



1. Combine all ingredients excpt shrimp and rice in crock pot.

2. Cover. Cook on Low 2-3 1/2 hours, or until chicken is tender.

3. Add shrimp and rice.

4. Cover. Cook on High 15-20 minutes, or until shrimp is done.
