Slow Cooker Creamy Old-Fashioned Oatmeal

  • Cooking Time:

    6 hours
  • Servings:

    4

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. dry old-fashioned rolled oats
2 1/2 c. plus 1 T. water
dash of salt

 

  1. Mix together oats, water and salt in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 6 hours.

Note: The recipe is this: for one serving, use 1/3 cup dry oats and 2/3 cup water, plus a few grains salt. Miltiply by the number of servings you need.

Variation: Before cooking, stir in raisins and/or a few chopped dates for each serving.

I make mine in a Minnie cooker use 3/4 quwters cup to two cups water ith 4 equal packs and cook on warm over night if to watery in morning turn to low for about 30 min
