- Potatoes (russet, sweet, or red - as many as you need)
- Salt
- Olive Oil
This is a recipe to keep handy for the holidays when oven space is limited.
- Wash, then pierce as many raw potatoes as needed.
- Wrap in foil.
- Place in crock pot on Low for 8 hours.
- Unwrap a few minutes before eating.
- Serve with your choice of toppings.
Note: If using potatoes to mash, then lightly rub potatoes with olive oil prior to wrapping and then the skins will fall off more easily.
Happy Crocking!

happy crocking to U
It seems like so many of your reciepes, while it is awesome that you can do them all in a crockpot, it seems they take waaaay longer to do then if you just spent 20-30 min on the stove to make them.
Amy, it is the ease and convenience of crocking that so many enjoy! You don’t have to stand over the stove and watch whatever you are making, you simply put it in, turn it on, walk away, and when it’s time to eat… it is all ready.
