I was wondering what size crockpot you use for the peach cobbler recipe?
Thanks for your great question, Paula. I like using an oval crock for desserts but really any size/shape will be fine. If you use something larger than a 3.5 quart oval crock, you may need to reduce the cooking time. Please let us know what size you used and how it turned out. Thanks!
Any ideas for Banana Pudding in a crock pot? That is my husband’s weakness. Slow cooking the pudding from scratch just time consuming. But scratch is SSOOOO much better than bought pudding!
Thanks! Loving your site! Have always considered myself a crock pot queen. Have 4 different sizes and could have them all going at once. Luv the Pots!!
can you use canned peaches instead of fresh? If so what size jar do you think?
Hello Allison, You can use canned peaches, and although I have not made them with canned, I would think three large peaches would equate to the large can of peaches, and if you like peaches, a few extra if the can holds more than 3 large peaches, would be good too! Thanks for the question and Happy Crocking!
How many does this serve. I may be missing it. Also if i need it to feed alot and double the recipe what kind of time adjustment do you think i should make?
Hello Mamavan… The serving size is in the upper right hand corner of the page. But I am happy to share that it serves 8! If you would like to double the recipe you would want to use a larger crock pot, say a 6-7 qt. size, and it really should crock in about the same length of time. Thanks for the question, and Happy Crocking!
[…] Crock Pot Peach Cobbler – Yum, yum, and more yum. That’s exactly what you’ll be saying once you’ve had a taste of this summer-perfect after dinner treat. Use fresh peaches for the ultimate in flavor. […]
Hiya, great site, thanks.
Can you please explain to me what baking mix is? Thanks from the dumb aussie girl
Hello Kimbo, don’t know if this is something you do not have available to you or not, but we have a baking mix called Bisquick, and that is what the recipe calls for. Hope this helps, and Happy Crocking!
I tried the cobble today . I chose the on high time so it would be done before I left home & about 2 hours left I smelled something , so I checked the cobble and it was burnt all around the edge. I was able to put the unburt portion in the oven .
Has anyone else had this
issue with cooking on high ?
Kim it sounds like your crock pot is crocking too hot, check to see if there is a recall on your crock pot. You can check it out in the internet for the model of your crock pot!
@ Crock Pot Girl sounds yummy can wait to try it.
@ Kimbo here is a link for a copycat baking mix. I’ve not tried it but will very soon because prepared baking mixes have a lot of salt.http://www.food.com/recipeprint.do?rid=357101
Hi, I love cherries much more than peaches. If I used canned tart cherries, how many cans do you think I would need to buy? thanks
Carla it depends on how many cherries you would like in your cobbler. I would say at least two cups, and I would mash them down some too, just like peaches, although I am sure you will not get them to that same consistency as the peaches. Happy Crocking.
For Nadyne Carpenter,
Regarding the copycat baking mix – does it need to be refrigerated after mixing if not used right away?
Thanks
Sorry didn’t’ sees the ingredients lis! LOL
No problem Michele… Happy Crocking!

[…] I am a very busy. The easier the recipe the better in my book. Well this slow cooker peach cobbler recipe takes less than 8 minutes to prepare! Not only is it extremely easy, it turns out delicious. I […]
I “mashed” the peaches resulting in something that looked like a scalloped corn casserole. It tasted good but was mushy and not something I would do again!
Hi, do you think I could use nectarines instead of peaches? I have an abundance & I don’t want to can them. Thank you.
Yes Sheronna, I would believe you could use any fruit with this recipe. Enjoy and if you would post back for others to read I would certainly appreciate hearing of your success! Happy Crocking!
I love your site and would really like to print selected recipes but there doesn’t seem to be an option for printing or have I missed it?
Hi Lettie, I do have a print option on my website. Click on the link that takes you to the recipe you want to view, and about half way down the page there is an area that says “Share and Enjoy”. The first icon is a print friendly option. Happy to share! Happy Crocking!
Thank you for your wonderful receipes, but it would be so helpful if you let us know what size crock pot each receipe needs.
I just want to thank you for all your receipts have tried several you are so tolerant of questions THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS ! Very nice to follow you.
Carrie thank you so much for your kind words. I truly appreciate hearing from you. Occasionally I have missed a question and feel very bad about that but it is my goal to answer as many questions as I possibly can. Happy Crocking!
Just wondering if you could use whole milk instead. Can’t wait to try, just beginning to cook and love it.
Mike I have not made it this way, but please make the recipes your own, and I am sure the cobbler will be very good! Happy Crocking!
I was going to make this tomorrow and I have the peach pie filling cans. Of I use those should I still add the sugar and cinnamon?
Hi Mattie, Most likely there is already sugar in the cans, so I would not add the sugar for sure, and check the ingredients in your can for the cinnamon! Thanks for the question.
