Looks wonderful! However, I am gluten free and Paleo. Can I sub the granola for something else, like chopped walnuts and pecans? Any other grain-free suggestions? Thanks!
I haven’t made it with any grain-free options, but I found a great post with a recipe for gluten-free granola. Maybe you could try that. Good luck and Happy Crocking! http://communityfoodcoop.wordpress.com/2011/04/29/gluten-free-granola/
How many servings will this make?
Hi Nikki – this will make 4 servings. If you check the top right-hand corner of any recipe page on this website, you will see the # of servings. Thanks for your question & Happy Crocking!
My husband and I attempted to make this for Christmas morning in our 5.5 quart crock pot and unfortunately it burnt to a black crisp. Does this recipe require a smaller crock pot than 5.5 qt?
Hello Suzanna! This is best made in a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crock pot, as it is only 4 servings! I do believe if you double the recipe it would be fine! Thank you for the question, and Happy Crocking!
