Ingredients
1/2 c. ketchup3 T.. Worcestershire sauce
3 T. soy sauce
1/2 c. lemon juice
Garlic powder or fresh garlic (1 clove or 1 tsp.)
Flank steak, cut into serving sizes
- Place all ingredients in a container and refrigerate overnight. (Important to tenderize the flank steak!)
- Place all ingredients (including marinade) in a 5-Quart slow cooker.
- Cover. Cook on High for 5 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker and allow to sit for 15 minutes.
- Slice, against the grain and serve immediately.

How much steak, 1 pound?
Hello Tracey, I would get the amount of steak that you feel would serve four people. I would suggest about 2 – 2 1/2 lb. of flank steak. Hope this helps! 🙂 Happy Crocking!
How long should you cook this for medium rare?
Each slow cooker will crock differently, so you should use a meat thermometer to test it for the way you like it! Happy Crocking
ON Pinterest it shows onions on this recipe… is that missing on the ingredients or someone else saved a different pic maybe?
I buy my flank steak much thinner – I guess I could just take a wing at it.. and see how it goes. Tired of only making Ropa Vieja – with the flank steak.
