- 3/4 c. short-grain rice
- 13 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk (skim is fine, 385ml)
- 2 c. water
- 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
1. Combine all ingredients in crock pot; stir well.
2. Cover. Cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or on High for 2 to 2-1/2 hours.
3. Stir twice during cooking period.
