Just to confirm the chuck needs to be browned prior to slow cooking as the check list states, correct?
Thank you!! These look AMAZING!!!
Yes, when you brown the meat it will add flavor to your meal! Happy Crocking!
Am I misreading the ingredients or do I only need two tablespoons of ketchup?
Shauna the ingredients are posted below the picture and to the right, in the middle of the page! Happy Crocking! But I see there is another problem on this page, I will need to work on it! Happy Crocking!
I only asked because two table spoons didn’t seem like alot and I don’t want the peppers to be dry.
Just came across this recipe and they are in the crockpot now. Question…your pic shows the pepper tops back on the peppers in the crockpot. Was that just to add color to the pic or did you cook them with the tops on? It also looks like you threw the extra meat mixture down into the crockpot as well? Can’t wait to try these! They look amazing!
Can you add uncooked rice to the pepper filling before crocking? Would love to try this in my new crock pot that I got for Christmas!
Dannah, I have not used the rice, but the fun of crocking or cooking is to change things up! I would love for you to post back and let us know how it turned out! Good Luck and Happy Crocking!
