- 1 c. oats, steel cut
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. apple, peeled, chopped
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 T. butter
- 1 T. cinnamon, ground
- 2 T. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Crock Pot Oats is a HEALTHY choice for a good warm breakfast to serve to your family.
1. Combine the steel cut oats, water, apple, raisins, butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract into a crock pot.
2. Stir to mix and dissolve the sugar.
3. Cover. Cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours (for firm oats) or 8 hours (for softer texture).
