- 5 lb. Chuck Roast
- .75 oz. ranch seasoning mix
- .7 oz. Italian dressing mix, dried
- .87 oz. brown gravy mix
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 onions, large, chopped
- 6 carrots, large, chopped into bite size pieces
- 8 potatoes, large, chopped into bite size pieces

1. Put everything in the crock pot with onions, carrots and potatoes.
2. Cover. Cook for 9 hours on Low.

i dont usually add so many pkgs of dry mixes but after adding up the salt content (30% total) i made this as directed except i browned the roast in tiny bit of oil and lots of onions. i left carrots potatoes and celery in big pieces so they would not turn into mush during the 8 hrs on high…removed all from crock, thickend gravy with flour and served with peas. it was wonderful and my dad used his bread to wipe his plate clean.thanks!
