This looks so yummy and easy! You said grilled chicken so the chicken should be cooked before going in the crock pot? It won’t get overcooked being in the crock pot for that long? Can you do it with uncooked chicken?
Thank you!!
Hi Lauren, thanks for your message! Great catch – I meant to type skinless, boneless chicken breasts. You are correct, you will want to put them in the crock raw or they will dry out. Thanks again and Happy Crocking!
Hi, do you have any recommendations for using squash, zucchini, etc that hasn’t been frozen? Would I be able to add them later in the cooking proccess?
Hi Megan… Several of my recipes on the website that have squash and zucchini add them at the beginning of the recipe. But you may like your veggies a little more crisp, and if you do, then you should add them toward the end of the crocking time. Let us know how it turns out! Happy Crocking! Your recipe calls for the Healthy Choice Garlic and Herb Sauce – but when I look that up it is a red sauce and the picture doesn’t look like it has a red sauce. I always thought primavera was with a white or light sauce.
You are correct Laura! Maybe I typed the wrong sauce, let me look into it?? Thanks for letting me know!
Did you figure out what kind of sauce this dish uses?
Ashley and Laura, sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but had some technical issues! I modified the recipe as I believe when I updated it, I updated the wrong recipe. My BAD! I would just use any white pasta sauce. Happy Crocking!
Thank you!
