My little one likes her spaghetti and Slow Cooker Spaghetti and Meatballs is such and easy dish to prepare!
- Saute onions and garlic in oil in saucepan.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cover. Cook on Low while you make the meatballs.
- Mix together all meatball ingredients except the oil. Form into small meatballs then brown on all sides in oil in saucepan. Drain on paper towels and add to the sauce in the crock pot.
- Cover. Cook on Low for 4-5 hours.
- When the sauce is close to being done boil spaghetti or pasta of your choice as directed on box.
Serve sauce over cooked pasta and enjoy!
NOTE: Jenn likes to top with mozzarella cheese! Yummy!
Happy Crocking!
29 ounce of water and 12 ounce water?
Thanks Adrianna, I made a typo so I have corrected the recipe! Good catch and again thank you so much! Happy Crocking!
I was wondering, can I add the meatballs without browning them first? I remember mt great-grandmother simmering her meatballs all day without browning them & they fell apart in your mouth, but wasnt sure if I could do that with this recipe.
You sure can Nikki…. the fun of cooking is making things the way you like them! Happy Crocking!
You are my family’s hero by the way! I have a 5-month old son & thanks to your website I have been able to get back to home-cooked meals! I hate I didnt find you sooner! Before you, I only had two crock-pot recipes, chili & pot roast & we were sick of both, lol. Thank you so much! We are a US Army family & my husband & our little family are stationed in South Korea for 443 more days & you have allowed American goodness back into our tummies! Much love!!
Thanks Nikki… so happy my website added some American wholesome meals back in your lives! Happy Crocking!
I love what you guys are up too. This type of clever work and exposure!
Keep up the great works guys I’ve you guys to my personal blogroll.
8 a.m.I started this @ 8a.m I didn’t brown the meatballs, just added them to the sauce. Cooking on low, since the meat wasn’t browned should I let it cook how much longer? Another 3 or 4 hrs?
To be sure Kayren, I would use a meat thermometer and check the meatballs to make sure they are done! Depending on the slow cooker and how it cooks it could be done even sooner than that. It is always hard for me to say as each and every slow cooker cooks differently. 🙂
