This got Rave reviews from my hubby and 2 yr old! Great flavor, will make it again!
Thanks for sharing Susanne!! Happy Crocking!
Do I get a regular sized can of pineapple or one of the smaller ones?
Hey Alicia! I would use the 20 oz. size. Add what you think looks right, and if you have any left over save as a side dish for sometime. But it will most likely take the whole can.
How long should I cook if I could only find center cut chops?? & what would calorie count be??
Thanks for your question, Britt. The bone-in vs. boneless won’t make a huge difference, just make sure the chops are not too thin. You can reduce cooking time by one hour and check for doneness. The important part is to make sure your crock is 2/3 full to prevent the meat from drying out. Happy crocking!
I made this two nights ago (halved the recipe) and it came out too watery. Ended up being shredded pork instead. What went wrong?
Hi Lee! I am not sure, unless one of the ingredients such as the apple juice didn’t get halved and made it watery. Also when you add the pineapple and juice, maybe there was too much juice from the pineapple, but were they tasty? Happy Crocking!
I feel like the ingredients need to be more specific… like the size of each can or bottle. I made this tonight exactly as instructed but it’s literally like soup. :/
Wish I had known to buy extra BBQ sauce, my por chops are pretty plain now.
Tried this for a quick easy meal yesterday and no one in my family of 6 liked it at all. There was loads of watery liquid and my pork chops were very bland.
