Slow Cooker Warm Pumpkin Dip is a great recipe for a little slow cooker (like the Little Dipper seen here.). Most little Crocks don’t have a low setting, so make sure you watch this recipe and stir frequently so it doesn’t get too hot.
- Put the softened cream cheese in the bottom of the crock.
- Top with sour cream, then pour in the pumpkin pie filling.
- Cover. Cook on Low for approximately an hour, stirring every 15 minutes or until warmed through.
Serve with: pears, pretzel sticks, graham crackers, vanilla wafers or ginger cookies.

Is that canned pumpkin or the seasoned mix?
It’s the canned pumpkin pie mix seen HERE. Sorry for any confusion! Happy Crocking!
So this isn’t using Pumpkin Pie MIX? This is just pumpkin solid packed! You should change the recipe!
Can you adapt the recipe to use fresh pumpkin? How much of the seasonings and sugar would be needed?
Hi Beth, you can, I would use a pumpkin pie recipe, and add the spices needed. Great question, and Happy Crocking!
Is the pumpkin pie mix gluten free?
Kathy I believe the pumpkin pie mix is gluten free, but to be sure I would call the maker of the mix, or go on line and check it out. Happy Crocking!
what do you think are the best things to dip in this dip?
Stephanie you must have missed it on the post but I am happy to share: Serve with: apples, pears, pretzel sticks, graham crackers, vanilla wafers or ginger cookies. It is so good! Please post back with your feedback after you make it, would love to hear how everyone loved it! Happy Crocking!
thank you for some reason it didn’t show up and i will let you know i am making it next weekend for a party!
Hi I have a 6qt crock pot, is that too big for this receipe?
Erica it will be too big ;-( …. You may want to invest in a little dipper, they are not very expensive, as you can use them for so many things. Check out the link on my website! There are several slow cookers to choose from! 😉
Erica, You should be able to use a small sauce pan on very low on the stove top. Just stir often so it doesn’t burn. 🙂
Is that 1 cup or whole can of pumpkin pie mix?
