Cannot wait to try the Easy Rib recipe 🙂
IS this recipe really for 1/2 lbs only?
Lisa, Thanks for the catch it is for 1 – 2 lbs of ribs. So sorry about that, I have made the adjustment on the recipe. Happy Crocking!
Can I use bone in ribs instead…..I bought those on accident
Hello Diane! You can use the bone in, it will definitely not change the Yummy taste! Happy Crocking!
Thanks…..they were super yummy. My family loved them!
Do you add any other liquids or just what is on the ingredient chart to the right?
Hi Jenn…. Just what is listed… and oh so delish! Happy Crocking!
I am so doing this in the next couple weeks. I may toss in a little bit of Show-Me BBQ sauce from near St. Louis, MO. I like the idea of the maple syrup.
Hiyah, these sound delish. Would you have a suggestion for a substitute for A1 sauce? We don’t get it in NZ so not exactly sure what it is. Can’t wait to five them a try. Tkx
Lisa, thank you for posting! The A-1 sauce is steak sauce, and it only calls for 2 T., so I would just leave it out of substitute it for another steak sauce if you have one. Happy Crocking!
I followed the recipe exactly, but mine didn’t come out looking like the picture. The picture looks like they have been basted in bbq sauce; am I missing something? Thanks
Cynlee, I may have added BBQ sauce to the ones in the picture, but how did they taste? I like them both ways! Give me your feedback! Happy Crocking!
Do you know how much fiber is in this recipe? Just curious.
Hi JC! I re-did the nutritional value, and re-posted it, and it only has .5 g for this recipe! Happy Crocking!
Hi Barb, It should be the same, but you should test them just to see! Happy Crocking!
I am making this right now but there Luis alot of juice. ??? I want the thick syrupy look like the picture. I followed the recipe exactly as is. ???? Whenever I cook meat in the crock pot this happens – lots if juice. What am I doing wrong? It smells good and the recipes always taste good – just soupy.
Debbie, spoon out some of the sauce towards the end of the crocking, and add flour and mix well, and put back in to make it thick to your liking! Happy Crocking!
I made this last night it came out great! I doubled the the spices and maple syrup because I used about 7 pounds of baby back ribs. I cooked it on high for about 5 hours. I rotated the ribs so they would cook more evenly in the sauce. I served with bbq sauce creamy Cole slaw and roasted potatoes. Very good! Btw this site is awesome!
Kathy thank you so much for you post, I really appreciate you letting all of my readers hear from you. You are the BEST! Happy Crocking!
