This is a great recipe for the holiday or any time! And…. I wanted to share my favorite Slow Cooker Honey Glazed Ham Recipe!
- Place ham in the slow cooker, and pour soda over the ham. If your pot has a rack, you can use it.
- Cover. Cook on Low 6-8 hours.
- Thirty minutes before serving, combine remaining ingredients, including 1/8 c. juices from the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Spread glaze over ham and continue cooking on Low for 20 minutes.
- Remove slow cooker insert and lid. Let ham sit for 15 minute before slicing.

Can you use a spiral ham?
Hi Bethany! I don’t think it matters what kind of ham you use, as long as it fits in your crock pot! Happy Crocking!
What do you mean by fully cooked ham? Do I buy it fully cooked?
What is the lemon-lime soda for? Could you substitute in other flavors?
Hi Devin, Thanks for the question, when you buy ham you will mostly find all hams are fully cooked! Also, the soda adds liquid, and I have had several facebook friends tell me they have used other sodas, such as a cola in place of the lemon-lime. Hope this helps! Happy Crocking!
Does the ham need to be thawed first or can you just have it frozen?
Christina, if it is frozen it will take longer than the posted crock time, but will still be delicious! Happy Crocking!
I can’t seem to get the dark color on the outside right?! Can you help me with that? I have no oven just my crock pot! Please help
Hi Taylor! The ground cloves and cinnamon should make a glaze. When you poor it over the ham, you should continue cooking for say 45 minutes or so, and it should darken on the ham. If not you can also cook for a while with the lid off. Every crock pot is a bit different. Happy Crocking!
Is there any way we can print your recipes! I hate trying to cook something and have to run back to the computer for ingrediants!
Sharon

Hi Melissa, no this is like the cloves you put in a pumpkin pie, and they are ground cloves. You can also purchase whole cloves, but you definitely want ground cloves. Happy Crocking!

Isn’t 12 ounces of soda too much liquid?
If you feel it is too much, please decrease the amount. I always encourage others to make the recipes their own, and to their liking! Thank you so much for the question. 🙂 Happy Crocking!
My ham is 2.74 lbs. how long should I cook it and should I cut the recipe in half?
Hello Amber, I would not cut the recipe in half, just use the same ingredients unless you would like to reduce it by about 1/4th, you can do that. I would say this should cook for about 3 1/2 – 4 hours. Most hams are pre-cooked, so you just need to warm it through. Happy Thanksgiving!
