Is this something you should use the stove for ? It doesnt sound like I would need the crockpot for this???
Audrey you can make it on the stove, but you will need to watch it closely as not to burn it, whereas with the crock pot, you can let it melt slowly, and not have to watch it! But really up to you… I prefer the crock pot.
These sound delicious. What size frosting mix do you use in this recipe.
Thanks!
Martha
Hi Martha – I use a package of dry frosting that is 7.2 oz. – like this one from Betty Crocker. Thanks for your question & Happy Crocking!
I tried this on Christmas Eve and they failed miserably. I used Jiffy chocolate dry frosting mix and I even used the crock pot. All I got was hot liquid. Even put them in the fridge, and all I got was a gooey substance. Never ended up looking like the picture. Any suggestions?
Has anyone else had this problem with making this recipe? Thanks – Martha – Problem is from post above. Happy New Year Everyone.
