I have a large roaster oven with a slow cook setting. It is large enough to comfortable fit a layer of potatoes and 2-3 T-bones. SHould I double or triple all of the measurements or should this onle by done one at a time?
You should double or triple depending on how many T-Bones fit in the crock! Post back and let us know how it turned out! Happy Crocking!
I noticed there isn’t any call for Beef Broth or water to be added? Is this an oversight? I can’t image cooking something for 8 hours without any liquid of any kind?
Ken the steak crocks in it’s own juices, but if you want to add beef broth or water, you can certainly add the liquid. Happy Crocking!
Awesome! I am going to give it a try! I’ll letcha know how it comes out! 🙂
When do you use the flour? It’s not mentioned in the directions.
Hi Tara, I am sorry about that, I have edited the recipe for you… Happy Crocking!
Do you place potatoe in whole or cut it up?
