Ingredients
4 apples, medium-sized, peeled and sliced1/4 c. honey or brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 T. butter, melted
2 c. granola cereal
1/4 c. water
Slow Cooker Granola Breakfast Casserole is one of the recipes from my eBook, but I wanted to share with all of you to give you an idea of the great recipes, tips & tricks to slow cooking in my eBook!
- Spray your slow cooker or a liner with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place apples in the slow cooker and mix in remaining ingredients.
- Cover & Crock on Low for 7-9 hours (overnight).
- Serve with milk and add (optional) raisins, craisins, dates or dried fruit of your choice!

I tried it… I doubled it as recommended for larger crock-pots. That was a good idea. It was a bit tart. I was thinking that it might come out like apple pie. I would switch from honey to sugar and maybe add a bit of water. It cooked it over night and I think it needs a stir after a couple of hours. That might have prevented some burning on the edges.

That is sooo delicious!! Made it over night with my timer clock and it turned out fantastic! I used selfmade crockpot granola with alot of good stuff in it, also dried figs….hmmm….and served it warm with milk when my Mom came over to breakfast this morning. We loved it and we were filled for hours. Thank for that great and easy recipe! ♥

Can I substitute Quaker oats instead of granola cereal?
