Happy Crocking!
what is pumpkin pie mixture? how is it different from canned organic pumpkin?please explain… thanks
Mary that is a good question, and one others may like to know as well. The Pumpkin Pie Mixture already has the seasonings in the mix, like the nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Thanks again, and Happy Crocking!
Would it turn out terribly if I just used canned pumpkin? Where I live, I can’t get pumpkin pie mix 🙁
Can I substitute heavy cream for the half & half ? I like thick bisque !
Sure Pete… Make the recipe your own. Happy Crocking!
In the pic you have for this soup it looks like there are chopped onions or potatoes? It looks chunky. But the ingredient list doesn’t have anything that would be chunky?? The soup in the picture is preferable to me…do you have that recipe or addition?
Michelle this picture is showing oyster crackers on the soup. Happy Crocking!
Made this for my husband and I and then made it again for the family for Christmas dinner. What a nice way to start our meal. The one batch made more then enough for the five of us for Christmas day and I even left about as much as we ate with the family. I will be making this again and again.
