Banana Ghosts & Pumpkin Oranges

I’ve been amazed at all the creative treats that pop up from time to time on Pinterest. One that caught my interest were Banana Ghosts & Pumpkin Oranges.  While they aren’t made in a slow cooker, they ARE healthy and easy Halloween treats that you can make at home. Give this recipe a go for your Halloween gathering. Everyone will appreciate having something other than candy to snack on for a sweet treat. Happy Halloween! (PS: Follow me on Pinterest HERE.)

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Place the cut side down so the banana halves stand up. (If you prefer, lay on a tray and you can use skewers to make them easy to eat!)
  2. Make ghost eyes and mouths with the chocolate chips.
  3. Peel the clementines.
  4. Cut the washed celery lengthwise into thirds and then across into 1/2 inch pieces. Insert the celery pieces the tops of the peeled clementines to look like pumpkins.
