Ingredients
4-6 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced1 c. brown sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
Optional: Garish with pecans or walnuts
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 T. butter

- Grease slow cooker with butter, add sliced sweet potatoes.
- Sprinkle sea salt, brown sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon over the sweet potatoes.
- Dot with butter; cover and crock LOW 7 hours.
Note: Garnish with Pecans or Walnuts, if desired.

what size of crock pot would you use for this recipe?
Hi Coreen, it really depends on the size of the sweet potatoes. As a rule of thumb, a slow cooker should be 1/2 to 2/3 full to crock properly. Therefore, it could take a 4 quart or a 5 quart slow cooker. Hope this rule of thumb helps in all your crocking experiences. 🙂
