I really wish I could share thus on my Pinterest page (where I keep my recipes). Will you be adding this “share” choice anytime soon?
Hi Terri! Thanks for your question. There is a “PinIt” button below the main image on each recipe. You can click that to pin the photo and recipe. Thanks & Happy Crocking!
Is ‘T’ tablespoon or teaspoon??
Hi Brenna – T. is for Tablespoon. I typically abbreviate teaspoon as tsp. Thanks & Happy Crocking!

What size crock pot do you use? I have a 6qt. Can I use it to make this recipe?
Shelna your 6 quart might be a little big for this recipe UNLESS you double the recipe, and you could always freeze half of it for another meal down the road. Hope this helps! Happy Crocking! By the way, this is so good! 🙂
Sounds yummy! I’m going to try this tonight with ground buffalo instead of beef.
The verdict is in…it’s a keeper! Definitely not manwich. Flavor is awesome!! My 11yr old son at FOUR sandwiches!!!
Another one pinned to try!
would this still taste awesome without the peppers and onions?
Hi Veronica, Please make all the recipes your own, and put in them what you would like. Leaving the peppers and onion out will take that flavor from the recipe, but if it is something you don’t care for you most likely will enjoy this recipe without them. 🙂
I am just not a fan of onions. I didn’t like them in the can of man-which I used to use lol….thanks for your advice
One more question….the cook time says 2-3 hours….what is that depending on? How will I know if it’s done?
Veronica, it really all depends on your slow cooker. Every slow cooker will crock differently, so if you feel your slow cooker crocks hot you will want to be sure and check it at 2 hours or before. Hope this helps! Happy Crocking!
So how long would you suggest if using a 7qt pot? I am making this for dinner tonight.
I didn’t notice before in the comments about using a larger cock pot may not work. Is it that you haven’t tried it? I’ve got it in my crock pot as of right now. 🙂
omg I meant crock….sorry
This was delicious! My family enjoyed it and my husband even wanted it for left overs the next day. Which usually doesn’t happen. It feels good to eat real ingredients. I would highly recommend this!
Thank you Susan Sunnucks for your testimony!
Love that there are a good amount of vegetables and I’m always happy to see ACV in a recipe. I didn’t have stone ground mustard or Worcestershire, which I didn’t realize until it was too late, so I subbed dijon and soy sauce for those two. It’s definitely probably better not being subbed! All in all, I thought it was a little sweet.
