Ingredients
18.25 oz. yellow cake mix (1 box)8 T. melted butter
21 oz. apple pie filling (1 can)
Slow Cooker Apple Cobbler served with a dip of vanilla ice cream then drizzled with caramel…it just doesn’t get any better than that!
- Place pie filling in bottom of slow cooker.
- top with cake mix – drizzle melter butter on top. Do not stir.
- Cover. Cook on High for 4 hours.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel! YUM!

So you sprinkle the dry cake mix in top of the apples?

Hi Megan, The 4 quart crock pot will work fine with this recipe. Rule of thumb is to have a crock pot 1/2 – 2/3 full to crock properly. Hope this helps. Happy Crocking!

A box of this over a can of that into a crockpot is not a recipe.
Am I seeing some oats in the picture? Did you add a little twist when you made this?

Could you use a 2 quart crockpot?
Lindsay I would be afraid a two quart slow cooker may be too small for this recipe. You could maybe cut the recipe in half and that may work. Just make sure your slow cooker is 1/2 to 2/3 full for your recipes to crock properly. Thanks you for the question, and Happy Crocking!
