I love making pork in the slow cooker because it gets fall-off-the-bone tender. This recipe for Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops is no exception! You will also enjoy the unique flavors in the special sauce – a twist on your typical BBQ sauce.
- Coat the inside of a slow cooker with nonstick spray or use a slow cooker liner.
- Mix together all the ingredients EXCEPT the pork in a bowl to create sauce.
- Layer the pork chops in the crock.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops, making sure all the chops are covered with sauce. (Note: For best results your crock should be 1/2 – 2/3 full.)
- Cover & Crock on HIGH for 5-6 hours or until pork chops begin to fall apart.

I am making this today and realized I bought pork with the bone…is that going to make a huge difference.
Hi Lisa, as far as the end result, it will still be delish, you will just have to deal with the bone! It will be YUMMY! Happy Crocking!
That will only give you more flavour Gina, it will be great
Hi, I’m pretty new to crock pot cooking. Since this recipe says to cook on high for 6 hours, and I am gone for 8 hours at least, will it burn if I leave it on high for all 8 hours, or should I cook it on low and then turn it up to high when I get home ? Or cook it on high for a couple hours in the morning before I leave for work and then on low the rest of the day? (or just try a different recipe?) 🙂 Thanks!
Hello Kit, I would just crock your recipe on High for an hour to get it started in the morning, and turn to Low for the day! Then back up to High when you get home IF NEEDED… Test it first and thanks for the question! Happy Crocking!
What is malt vinegar?
Hi Kris – Here’s a link to Malt Vinegar: http://amzn.to/I1W90g – it’s an English vinegar that is popular on dishes like fish & chips and other seafood dishes.
Can we use apple cider vinegar if we do not have malt vinegar? Should we add something else with the apple cider vinegar if we do not have malt vinegar? Thank you.
Wendy, Apple cider vinegar is mild with the slightest flavor of apple. It is the most versatile vinegar and makes a good substitute for almost any vinegar. Enjoy!
I am thinking you could make a great pulled pork with this sauce and pork loin, too! I will try the chops, first. Would the left-overs freeze well? To answer malt vinegar question: http://www.food.com/library/malt-vinegar-630
Hello, I’m in the UK & have tried a couple of your slow cooker recipes and loved them. Could you please tell me how much in weight is equivalent to the cup in this recipe and also does the T stand for tablespoon? Thanks 🙂
1 cup = 8 ounces of water
Yes, the T = tablespoon
Thank you!
I believe Worcestershire sauce has anchovies in it and I am allergic to them. Is there something I can substitute this with as an alternative?
Hi Louise – you could try subbing steak sauce (like A-1) mixed with vinegar. If you do this, please let us all know how it turns out. Thanks & Happy Crocking!
They make a vegan worceshire sauce that has no anchovies 🙂
Would regular vinegar and regular mustard work?
I was wondering the same thing
Since there are only two of us, I bought a four quart slow cooker, and notice that it gets very hot. Think I should turn it on low instead of high?
Lee I would, but I would also check with the manufacturer. It should not get that hot?
Can I use another kind of vinegar?
Just made these for dinner but only had 4 small chops. Put them in my small crockpot and used same amount of sauce…..Delish! Cant stop picking at them. Thank you!
Turned out good would recommend thick cut boneless chops. I am going to try this tomorrow with chicken breast
Trying with chicken breasts today
I made this yesterday. It was horrible. The pork was dry and the bbq sauce was watery.
I enjoy your recipes. Wish you would suggest side dishes to go with meal and maybe dessert also. Thank you kay
