First I just want to say Thanks, I love all the wonderful recipes. I have a couple questions. One, do you put the meat in raw? Next, how do you keep it from becoming greasing tasting? Even with it being ground round there is bound to be some grease from the meat?
Hi Holly! First, Thank You for letting me know that you like the recipes, I appreciate it very much. When I use ground turkey or ground beef, I brown and drain before adding to the crock pot, plus when you brown it it gives it added flavor! I realize this is a facebook friends recipe, so I did not change the recipe, but I find browning works best for me! Thanks for the question and Happy Crocking!
